Pregnancy, Mum & Baby Yoga Classes with Yummy Yoga
What do our class participants say about us?
"Thank you so much for all you have done for me through the yoga classes. I joined when I was 14 weeks and never done yoga before. And since then it has been the highlight of my week. The classes give me a chance to totally focus on myself and my baby and completely relax. I sleep so well after a class too. I am now almost 36 weeks and hoping to continue as long as I can. I believe that all the pregnancy issues I could have potentially suffered with were avoided as you focused the classes on specific issues people were having. I am also looking forward to joining the next birthing class with my husband." - Rohinn April 2017 "I have really enjoyed the pregnancy yoga classes and feel so much better in this pregnancy at age 40! Thank you Ananti, the breathing is coming naturally already, used it for induction." - Nisha Gorasia 2014 "I had done yoga intermittently during these times, mainly for helping with a healthy pregnancy, but then lost the habit for a while. When I found out I was pregnant again, I sought out Ananti’s class and connected with the yoga at a different level. I soon found myself practising every day and feeling energised beyond belief, even though my body was going through many challenges. On a deeper level the classes help me reconnect to my spirituality, and embrace my female role." - Rita Hemraj, 2013 "I really recommend Yummy Yoga. I had a brilliant time meeting other pregnant mums and learning yoga! I really found the interaction with other mums to be helpful especially when I was worried about anything or had had a tough week it was really comforting to realise that everyone else had felt the same at some point and I was normal! I looked forward to going every week!!" - Jennie, Bushey "Doing the pregnancy yoga course at Yummy Yoga helped me to relax during pregnancy and prepare for the birth. I enjoyed meeting other pregnant mums and chatting through the same issues. I looked forward to each session and practised some of the moves during the week." - Sarah, Rickmansworth "Just wanted to say a massive thanks for your course. It was a great pregnancy yoga class which has really helped with my pregnancy and also a great opportunity to meet other mums. I actually gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Sunday, weighing just under 6 lbs. I remembered all the breathing and positions to help with the labour so your classes were excellent. The tens machine was also a saviour and I would recommend using that to anyone." - Jay, Watford) |
"I had a baby girl, very quick labour and breathing techniques helped a lot and so I didn’t need any other pain relief. Thank you very much Ananti." - Nina Haria, May 9th 2014 "Thanks for all the help during pregnancy. The breathing really helped me keep calm and centred. Baby ended coming by c-section as she was in a frank breech position but, we are both doing well." - Priya Shah 2014 "I have done yoga for the first time in my life during my pregnancy and it changed my life. I became a big fan of yoga thanks to wonderful teacher Sarah and her magical way of showing me how to find a peace within my mind with yoga. I am much calmer and happier person now. I even did postnatal yoga with Sarah and I still continue to practice yoga. Thank you!!! XXX" - Andrea, St Albans) "Pregnancy yoga is a fantastic way to relax and support your body during pregnancy. You can work at your own level and any pregnancy ailments you are suffering from are supported through variations on postures. I thoroughly enjoyed my Thursday evening sessions and would highly recommend them to anyone who is pregnant and wants to strengthen their new body while having some fabulous 'me' time." - Joanne, Watford “Yummy Yoga was just what I needed. As a first time mum to be, with a strange bump, unknown aches and pains and a head full of worries and wonderings, Yummy Yoga was perfect. Small, friendly groups, a beautiful peaceful setting, warm and friendly support from our yoga instructor Elinor, and some wonderful easy to manage yoga positions and breathing techniques. Each week brought about the chance to talk over a new topic that we might want to discuss, from labour pains to bum cramps! If you want some sheer self indulgance, some healthy yoga stretches, to learn how to find your inner calm when you are most going to need it - then I would highly recommend Yummy Yoga! And if that's not enough.....there's cake at the end too!!!” - Gemma, Rickmansworth "I've never done anything like this before but I loved it. See you at Postnatal Yoga!" |
"Labour was a long 12 hours and was very tough! However, I managed with no pain relief but, used just breathing, hip rotations and homeopathic remedies!" - Palvi Shah 2014 "I started pregnancy yoga as soon as I found out I was pregnant and I am very glad I did. The techniques and lessons learnt during the classes were invaluable when it came to the birth itself. I was lucky enough to have a drug free birth. The classes armed me with the tools I needed to get me through, from how to breath in the right way to shifting my mindset to help me to cope with the extreme feelings and sensations. The classes themselves were enjoyable and were a nice way to meet other local mums to be. I would not hesitate in recommending Pregnancy Yoga with Ananti." - Anusha Pari 2014 "I loved the pregnancy yoga classes with Sarah, I did 3 lots of classes (18 weeks in total) and really enjoyed the balance of stretching and challenging poses with relaxation and breathing. I felt like I had really achieved something at the end of the classes unlike another yoga class I attended with my previous pregnancy. It was fantastic meeting the other ladies, especially as I am new to the area and also because my NCT class was cancelled; I feel like I have made some lovely friends from these classes and I am looking forward to being able to attend postnatal yoga." - Anne, Sarrat "A brilliant and relaxing class to help you keep well during pregnancy, get ready for labour and meet other mums-to-be." - Caroline, Rickmansworth “The birth went pretty well. I got to the hospital and was fully dilated. I ended up having a water birth which was lovely. Thank you so much Sarah for all the fantastic yoga techniques they really helped me through it. In fact I was so relaxed I probably left it quite late to get to the hospital.” - Helen, Rickmansworth "I felt really nervous about the birth but Sarah really helped ease my worries. Moving on from the course I feel much more prepared for labour, I am even quite looking forward to it (can't believe I just said that)!!!" |
