What are the benefits of pregnancy yoga?
Pregnancy yoga with Yummy Yoga will provide you with natural tools to support your mind and body throughout your pregnancy.  We will help build your strength and stamina, and teach you postures to keep your hips and pelvis limber.  You will experience deep soothing relaxation, and will learn "take away" breathing and relaxation techniques that you can use to release tension, manage pain and improve your sleep through pregnancy, labour and beyond.

Do I need to have done yoga before to go to a pregnancy yoga class?
No.  Our yoga is suitable for all ladies who are 14 weeks pregnant and beyond.  So whether you can headstand in lotus whilst chanting om or haven't properly exercised in years we hope you find strength and comfort in our classes.

I’m pregnant.  When can I start pregnancy yoga?
We recommend that you start our pregnancy yoga classes once you reach 14 weeks pregnant.  If you had any problems earlier in your pregnancy please do check with your doctor before doing yoga with us.

I've just had a baby.  When can I start postnatal yoga?
Doctors usually recommend six weeks of recovery time for new mothers after a vaginal birth and longer after a caesarean. When you have been given the OK from your doctor and have no significant bleeding, you are ready to do yoga again.

What do I need to bring to class?
Just yourself.  No need for trainers, we practice in socks or bare feet. We can supply yoga mats and plenty of cushions.

What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows you to move freely.  Please do dress in layers that you can put on or strip off during those mumma hot flushes.

Do you teach privately?  How does that work?
Yes for those of you after a more personal experience we offer private tuition in Hertfordshire and Harrow, Middlesex
