Ananti Shah

Ananti Shah has been practicing yoga for 25 years, after completing an intensive and experiential training at the Swami Vivekanada Yoga Research Foundation (S-Vyasa) in India in1995.
She specialises in yoga for pregnancy and the post-natal year. Through her own experiences of motherhood, she fully understood the benefits of yoga for pregnancy, the birthing process and mothering. She loves to share this knowledge with other women.
She uses simple posture work combined with breathing and body awareness to allow women to fully experience this magical process.
“My deepest passion is in sharing my knowledge of yoga, pregnancy, birth and
mothering.”
Yoga has been a fundamental part of my life and has given me strength in every aspect.
However, I only truly realised the power of truly understood the benefits, profound and deeper aspects of yoga practice during my two pregnancies’ and births, when I experienced a complete flow with my body and breath.
I breathed through each moment of “pain” and almost felt like I just breathed the babies out too!
It was an experience of “Yoga”, Flow, and Oneness and complete Surrender to the rhythms of nature.
Yoga not only brings about body flexibility but also flexibility of mind and emotions. It teaches us how to remain present in body and mind in the most uncertain situations of life and to embrace every moment.
My personal yoga practice, my yoga teachers, spiritual teachers and most importantly my children have helped me to touch this space of presence, stillness and contentment. To them I am most grateful.
My vision is to share this knowledge of this experiential study with others so that each of us can grow and discover deeper spaces of being.

"I’ve been attending classes since about 20 weeks and have found them both very relaxing and enjoyable, as well as teaching good breathing practice to help with labour. Mostly I’ve met local mums to share the experience with which has been a fantastic support over the past few months. I definitely recommend the classes!
I absolutely love attending the classes and Geeta is an amazing teacher! " - Jill June 2019
KILU (Kirti)

KILU (Kirti), is truly a person who puts the practice of yoga into every aspect of life.
She has a very regular practice. She has run two London Marathons in which she says “yoga helped me being flexible, energising and gave me the mental energy to keep going” Running the London Marathon in a yogic way is the best preparation for giving birth and motherhood – Kilu has a wealth of experience, total calmness and a heart of gold!
Killu comes from a scientific research background developing pain and anti - cancer therapies, but she says “my real passion is practicing yoga and giving my time to share this knowledge. I practice yoga daily in a group sessions and enjoy the blissful process keeping me peaceful, balanced and energised and oneness with my mind body and surrounding.
I also love walking and trekking. For warming and cooling session I use the yogic stretches and breathing practices.
In 2005 having been made redundant, I went to Swami Vivekananda Centre near Bangalore, India to pursue an intensive yoga instructor’s course. This gave me the experience of living a yoigic way of life and a holistic approach to teaching and practicing yoga. Since than I have enjoyed sharing my experience of yoga with charitable organisations, some children’s sessions, chair yoga sessions and small family groups. More recently under training with Ananti I have pursued the teaching of yoga to mum’s to be.
This has increased my awareness of being in tune with the body and living in the ‘now’.
I am thankful to Ananti and other yoga teachers and my family for helping me on this spiritual pathway and living a fulfilled life.
